Tripura JEE Exam Pattern

The complete details of the exam pattern of Tripura JEE are given below to provide the candidates total familiarity with the exam.

  • Mode of the exam: The exam will be conducted as a pen-and-paper based test, i.e., it will be held in offline mode.
  • Duration of the exam: The duration of each paper will be 2 hours.
  • Number of paper: 4 papers each for the subjects involved in the exam will be there.
  • Number of Questions: Each paper will carry 50 questions thus making a total of 200 questions to be asked in the entrance exam.
  • Type of Questions: All the questions asked in the paper will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
  • Important Subjects: The questions in the exam will be asked from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
  • Total marks: The question paper will carry a total of 400 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative marking: There will be no negative marking, i.e., no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer.

How to write answers on an OMR sheet?

  • For each of the 4 subjects, one test booklet/ question paper containing 50 questions will be provided.
  • A series number (A/ B/ C) will be mentioned on the question paper which must be mentioned in the OMR sheet very carefully. Any mismatch will lead to the rejection of answer sheet.
  • The candidates will have to color the bubbles that indicate the correct answer choice (A/ B/ C/ D) on the question paper.
  • Bubbling more than a single answer will not fetch any marks to the candidates.
  • The bubbling must be done with blue/ black ball point pen only.
  • The candidate must completely darken the bubble as the incompletely filled bubble might not get scanned by the OMR scanner.
  • Coloring outside the bubble must also be prevented.
  • The answers once marked through the bubble will not be changed. Use of whitener or eraser is also not allowed.
  • Do not make any stray mark or cut/ mutilate/ fold/ damage the OMR sheet.
