NEET Counselling 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education has not released the schedule for NEET 2021 counselling. Who Conducts NEET Counselling Process?

The Medical Council Committee is responsible to conduct counselling process for 15% All India Quota seats, Central Universities/Deemed Universities. If a candidate is interested in management seat then he/she would have to apply particularly in each college.

NEET 2021 Counselling Process

Here are the procedure mentioned, that need to be followed by candidates in order to apply for NEET exam 2021:

Online Registration

In order to register online, candidates have to access the official website of CBSE and click the New User Registration link. Here they will have to enter all required details including personal and educational details. Once a candidate is registered successfully, he/she would be provided a unique user ID and password to their provided email ID and mobile number.

Choice Filling and Locking Process

At this stage, candidates will have to fill the preference of colleges and courses. Thereafter, they have to click the ‘Save’ button. In this way, they can fill and save the choices for admission. Every candidate must save the choices filled by them, otherwise, that would not be considered valid.

Seat Allotment Result Declaration

After the choice locking process gets finished successfully, the authority will publish the seat allotment result. Soon the result is out, candidates will receive the related alert to their registered email ID and mobile number.

You can even modify your choices and Lock

After the declaration of seat allotment, if you are not satisfied with the allotted seats then you can even modify the choices. For the same, you’d be required to login to the official website of CBSE NEET and modify your choices. After the modification process gets finished, do not forget to lock your modified choices.

Report to the allotted colleges

Once the allotment process is finished, students need to report to their respective allotted college in order to complete the further procedure. Candidates have to make the payment of initial fee and complete the related admission formalities. If a candidate fails to attend the interview before the given timeline, then the particular seat would be transferred to the next candidate.

Candidates, who didn’t get the seat in the first round, they may try getting seat in the next round of counselling.

List of Essential Documents for the counselling process

Candidates would be required to bring following documents in order to attend the counselling process:

  • Passing certificate for class 10th and 12th;
  • Mark Sheets of educational qualification;
  • Admit card for NEET 2021;
  • Candidate’s Rank Card/Rank Letter;
  • Category Certificate (In case Applicable);
  • Date of Birth Certificate;
  • 8 numbers of Passport size photographs;
  • Identity Proof of a candidate;
  • Allotment Letter (Provisional);
