KIITEE Law 2022: Application Form, Eligibility, Date of Exam

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will organize the Law entrance exam to select candidates for enrolment into its law courses. Admissions will be granted to BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc LLB and LLM courses depending on the choice and eligibility of the candidates. Application form and prospectus for admission will be made available in online mode. The applications are expected to be released in the month of November 2021 and exam to be held in April 2022. KIITEE Law 2022 Notes

  • Applicants must ensure their eligibility before proceeding with the application process.
  • The applicants must show their admit card when asked by the invigilator for verification.
  • The online test will close automatically once the allotted time period is over.
  • No re-examination shall be held if candidates fail to report for exam on scheduled date.
  • Entrance exams will be held on different dates in different states. Details of exam will be mentioned in the admit card also.
  • Candidates must report for counseling session as per the schedule intimated by the institute.

KIITEE Law 2022 Application Form

  • KIITEE Law 2022 application form will be released on the official institute’s website kiitee.ac.in or kiit.ac.in. Application form will not be provided in any mode other than being available online.
  • Candidates will have to provide their basic personal and academic details into the form such as name, gender, age, passing year, marks obtained, etc.
  • Photograph and signature of the candidates in scanned format will also be uploaded into the application form.
  • Application form complete in all respects can then be submitted online. Care must be taken to provide only true and correct information in the form.
  • An application number and password will be generated after successful submission of the form.
  • The candidates are advised to take a printout of the duly submitted application form in case of further correspondence.

Application fee:

  • There will be no application fee for appearing in the entrance test.

KIITEE Law 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The course-wise eligibility criteria for KIITEE Law 2022 are provided below:

For BA LLB and BBA LLB courses:

  • Age limit: The candidates should not have completed 17 years of age as on 1st July 2022.
  • Academic qualification: Those with a pass in class 12th or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks are eligible.

For B.Sc LLB course:

  • Age limit: Age of the candidate should not exceed 21 years as on 1st July 2022.
  • Academic qualification: A pass in 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate is required.

For LLM course:

  • Academic qualification: Candidate should hold a BA LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc LLB/ B.L degree or equivalent from a recognized university and must have secured at least 55% of marks in aggregate.

KIITEE Law 2022 Admit Card

  • Admit card for KIITEE Law 2022 will be uploaded on the official website hopefully in the first week of April 2022.
  • Candidates can download the admit card by entering their application number and password.
  • In case, the admit card is not available in the website, the candidates should contact KIIT giving details of their application form.
  • A printout of the downloaded admit card should be taken and carried to the exam center on exam day.
  • Candidates must preserve the admit card till the admission process is over.

For LLB courses:

  • Mode of exam: Computer-based test
  • Medium of test: English
  • Duration of exam: 180 minutes
  • Number of questions: 120
  • Type of questions: Multiple-choice question
  • Total marks: 480
  • Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given for every correct answer
  • Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

  • Marking scheme: For every correct answer 4 marks will be given
  • Negative marking: For every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted
  • Topics: Questions will be asked related to the syllabus of LLB course.

KIITEE Law 2022 Result

  • The candidates can check their result from the official website using their application number.
  • Rank card indicating the rank of the candidate in entrance exam will be sent to the qualified candidates.
  • Candidates can also download their rank card by visiting the official website of the institute.
  • As per the availability of seats in the different law courses, cut-off rank will be notified.
  • Candidates having rank above cut-off rank will be invited to attend the counseling round.
  • A merit list of the candidates shortlisted for counseling will be prepared and uploaded on the official website.

KIITEE Law 2022 Counseling & Admission

  • Details of the counseling process will be communicated to the candidates through the official website.
  • Verification of documents will be done at the time of counseling. Candidates failing the verification process will not be considered for admission.
  • After successful verification, seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their rank in the entrance exam.
  • Those allotted a seat will have to complete the formalities of admission such as fee payment, document submission, etc.

Candidates reporting for counseling must bring the following documents in original to the counseling center:

  • Admit Card
  • Rank Card
  • Class 10th Pass Certificate
  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Class 12th Pass Certificate
  • Degree Certificate, for LLM candidates
  • Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates
  • Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000/- which includes the counseling registration fees of Rs. 10000/- drawn in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar
