KEE Eligibility Criteria- Nationality, Age Criteria, Qualifying Exam

Students seeking admission in various UG programs offered by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences should apply for the same by filling the application form available on the official website. However, admission to B.Tech, B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc horticulture courses will be given based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the Institute. Students must go through the KEE eligibility criteria before they head to the application form. Candidates should have passed class 12th to be eligible for admission in undergraduate (UG) courses provided by the institute.

KEE Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates should note that the KEE application form will most probably be released in the 2nd week of January 2021. The application form will only be available via online mode. Candidates need to register themselves for the entrance exam before they fill the form. However, they must make sure that they satisfy all the necessary eligibility conditions laid down by the authority for admission.

If at any stage it is found that the candidates have applied for the entrance exam despite not fulfilling the eligibility criteria the candidature of such candidates will be canceled to the immediate effect. The KEE eligibility criteria 2021 are as follows-

Nationality: Indian Nationals/PIO/OCI candidates can apply for the entrance examination. Those who have completed their studies from abroad will be treated under NRI/Foreign National category. However, such candidates must submit a Bonafide certificate issued by the school to prove that they have studied from school abroad. PIO/OCI candidates won’t be eligible for reservation.

Age criteria: The age of the candidates should not exceed 21 years as on 1st July 2022 for all UG courses.

Qualifying examination:

Course Educational qualification
B.Tech Candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent with PCM subject group from a recognized board with at least 55% aggregate marks.

OR

Passed class 12th with the vocational stream with any one of the engineering related subjects namely Physics or Chemistry and Mathematics with 55% marks taken together.

B.Tech (Biotechnology and Food processing) Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent exam with minimum 55% marks in PCM subjects.

OR

Passed class 12th with 55% aggregate marks in PC and any one of the Biology/Zoology/Botany/Computer Science subjects.

B.Tech (Agricultural engineering) Students must have passed class 12th or intermediate with PCM subject group and have scored at least 55% aggregate marks.
B.Sc Agriculture Students should have passed intermediate/class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics or both, Agriculture from a recognized board. They should have obtained minimum 55% aggregate marks in the same.
B.Sc Horticulture Students must have completed class 12th/intermediate with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and any one of the Mathematics/Biology or both, Forestry subjects) from a recognized board.
