Important Notes:
- For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, a separate Kannada language test will be conducted.
- The Kannada language test will be of 50 Marks and will be of class 4th
- Candidates giving Kannada language test must score minimum of 12 marks out of 50 to qualify the language test.
- Agriculture Quota: candidates seeking admission under this quota need to appear for a practical exam of 200 Marks.

No, only one common application will be available for all the courses.
- I am a Horanadu/Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidate, but I have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th standard outside Karnataka. Do I need to write Kannada Language Examination?
No, you are exempted from giving the Kannada language test. All you need to do is fill up the clause code as ‘n’ in your application form.
- Is there negative marking for marking the wrong answer?
No, there are no negative marking criteria for KCET exam.
- Where will be the Kannada language test conducted?
The Kannada language test will be conducted in Bangalore only.
- I am a Non-Horanadu/Non-Gadinadu Kannadiga applicant; do I have to appear for the language test?
No you don’t need to give the language test as it is only applicable for Horanadu/Gadinadu candidate.
