Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry will be conducting the JIPMER PG 2022 entrance exam for providing qualified applicants admissions to MD/MS postgraduate degree. The degree is offered in numerous courses such as Pathology, Microbiology, Physiology, etc in MD and General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, etc in MS. JIPMER PG 2022 Application Form
The interested candidates who wish to appear for the JIPMER PG 2022 entrance test can fill the application form. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before they start filling out the form. The application form will be available on the official website of the institute. The candidate must enter all the correct details or personal, professional and educational qualifications and upload the required scanned copies in the specified format. Along with the form, an application fee will also be submitted. The category-wise structure of the fee is given below:

The OPH candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee can be paid via net banking/credit card/debit card.
JIPMER PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates of Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India and Non- Resident Indians are eligible.
- However, the NRI candidates will have to route their application through Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. Such candidates will also have to take prior permission from Medical Council of India before applying for the JIPMER PG 2022 exam.
- The applicant must hold MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India and at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) must be scored in the qualifying exam.
- The applicants must have done 1-year rotating internship / practical training.
Exam Pattern for JIPMER PG 2022
The duration of the paper will be 3 hours and a total of 250 questions will be asked. Each question will carry 4 marks and 1 mark will be deduced for each wrong answer. The medium of the paper will be English only. The paper will be divided into two main sections with questions asked form Basic Clinical Sciences and Clinical Sciences. The pattern of the paper is given in the table below:

JIPMER PG 2022 Admit Card

The admit card of the candidate will contain the important examination details such as examination venue, date and time. JIPMER PG 2022 Result and Counseling
The result for JIPMER PG 2022 will also be uploaded on the JIPMER official website. The result of the candidates will consist of name of applicant, date of birth, marks scored, total marks, percentile and other details. An overall merit list as well as category-based merit list will be prepared. Based on their marks, the qualified candidates will be called for counseling round.
