IPU CET Syllabus- Check Prescribed Syllabus PDF

The IPU CET syllabus will comprise of the subjects from which the questions will be asked in the exam. Candidates need to prepare for the entrance exam as per the syllabus specified by the IP University. Through IPU CET exam, candidates will be selected for admission in various UG and PG program offered by the University. Since the selection will strictly be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the exam hence, candidates should leave no stone unturned to prepare for the same. The IPU CET syllabus will vary from course to course and the candidates will have to study the subjects taught in the qualifying examination.

IPU CET Syllabus

Candidates need to go through the IPU CET exam pattern to have an understanding of the exam. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will be of duration 2 hours 30 minutes except for the biotechnology course, the duration for which will be 3 hours. Here’s the IPU CET syllabus as mentioned by the authority –

B.Tech: Candidates need to study the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class 12th level. Each of these subjects will carry the weightage 33.33%.

B.Ed: English Comprehension (15%), Mental Ability and Reasoning (40%), General Awareness (25%), Aptitude for Teaching (20%).

BHMCT: English Language & Comprehension (25%), General Awareness(20%), Logical and Analytical Ability including Computer awareness(30%), and Knowledge of Accounts / Commerce & Science (20%).

BVOC: English Language & Comprehension (30%), Numerical Reasoning (30%), Logical Reasoning (20%), and General Awareness including Computer Awareness (20%).

M.Tech: Candidates need to study the subjects in which they have done specialization in B.Tech. The questions will be asked as per the graduation level standard. The syllabus for M.Tech will be as per the syllabus prescribed for GATE exam.

MBA: Questions will be asked from the subjects such as English language and comprehension (30%), Numerical ability (30%), General knowledge (10%), and Reasoning including DI (30%).

MCA: Candidates should study Mathematics, English Language & Comprehension, Computer Awareness and Logical and Analytical Ability. Each of these will carry the weightage 25%.

MAMC: Communication Skills- English (30%), Current Affairs (20%), General Knowledge (20%), Mass Media (Print/ TV/ Radio/ Film/ New Media) (30%).

MPT: Anatomy, Biomechanics, Exercise, Electrotherapy, Physiotherapy- Rehabilitation in Clinical Sciences, Musculoskeletal, and Neurology.

MOT: Anatomy, Biomechanics, Exercise, Occupational Therapy in Mental Health, Occupational Therapy in Rehabilitation of Neurological Conditions, and Occupational Therapy in Physical Dysfunction.

MPO: Electrotherapy, Applied Mechanics and strength of materials, Prosthetics, and Orthotics.

LLM: General Knowledge (including English Language), Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Commercial Law & Family Law, Public International Law, Human Rights Law and Environment Law and Current Trends in Law.

BCA: English Language & Comprehension (15%), Mathematics (30%), Computer Awareness (30%), General Knowledge- IT and Science Related (25%).

BBA: English Language & Comprehension (25%), General Awareness(25%), Logical and Analytical Ability(25%), and Aptitude relating to the field of Management and Communication Skills (25%).

M.Ed: Teaching Aptitude (40%), General Awareness and Logical Reasoning (30%), English / Communication skills (30%).

MAHERIT: Indian History, Culture & Archaeology, Museums of India, Heritage Tourism, Basic Science (class 12th level), General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Geography & Natural Heritage, Management of Heritage, and Heritage Conservation.

LLB: English Language and Comprehension (25%), General Knowledge (25%), Reasoning (25%), and Legal Aptitude (25%).
