CUCET Syllabus: The syllabus of Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will be set by the exam conducting authority. Every year all the Central universities prescribe detailed CUCET syllabus. It is a national level entrance examination conducts for admission to the various UG/Integrated, PG & Research courses offered by the 10 central universities. Candidates who are willing to appear in the upcoming CUCET exam are recommended to go through the syllabus for their particular course completely in order to make better preparation plan and study well for the test. Understanding of syllabus is important for the candidate. Without knowing the CUCET syllabus it is insignificant to prepare for the exam. Therefore, candidates should check the syllabus prescribed by the conducting authority. In this post, candidates can check the detailed CUCET syllabus for UG/ Integrated, PG and Research programmes.

CUCET Syllabus

Syllabus of CUCET for UG/Integrated Courses:

For admission into Integrated B.Tech/ M.Tech/ Integrated Science B.Sc. M.Sc/ Integrated M.Sc./B.Sc Courses, candidates can follow the syllabus of 12th standard. There is no definite syllabus prescribed by the authority for UG/Integrated courses. However, the questions will be asked from the following subjects.

Chemistry Subject:

Atomic Structure, Redox Reactions, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Acid-Base Concepts, Catalysis,  Colligative Properties of Solution, Colloids, Periodic Table, Thermo-chemistry, Preparation and Properties, Reaction intermediates, General Organic Chemistry, Isomerism, Carbohydrates, Polymers, Solid State and Petroleum, Preparation and Properties

Physics Subject:

Measurement, Laws of Motion, Motion in one dimension, Motion in two dimensions, Work, Power and Energy, Rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis, Linear Momentum & collisions, Gravitation, Oscillatory motion, Heat and thermodynamics, Mechanics of solids and fluids, Wave, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effect of Current, Current Electricity, Matter, Ray Optics and optical instruments, Electromagnetic induction, Wave Optics and Modern Physics.

Mathematics Subject:

Probability, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Co-ordinate Geometry, Vectors, Dynamics and Statics

Biology Subject:

Zoology: Origin of Life, Mechanism of Organic Evolution, Organic Evolution, Human Genetics and Eugenics, Mammalian Anatomy (Eg. Rabbit), Applied Biology, Animal Physiology and Comparison between Periplanata and Blatta

Botany: Plant Cell, Ecology, Protoplasm, Ecosystem, Seeds in angiospermic plants, Genetics, Fruits, Cell differentiation Plant Tissue, stem and leaf, Anatomy of Root, Important phylums, Soil and Photosynthesis.

Syllabus for Integrated MA/BBA/ Integrated BA LLB (Hons)/ Integrated M.Sc/ B.Voc/ Diploma programmes:

CUCET Syllabus for Integrated M.Sc B.Ed/ PG/B.Ed./PG Diploma courses differ as per the course. The syllabus of CUCET research courses will be same as that defined for NET-JRF or UGC- CSIR. Candidates can check the CUCET 2021 syllabus for PG courses below.

For L.L.M (Master of Law) programme:

General Principles of Contracts, Law of Torts, Constitution, Criminal Law-Indian Penal Law, Family Law-Hindu Law, Administrative Law, Contract-II, Property Law, Company Law, Family Law-II: Mohammedan Law and Indian Succession Act, Environmental Law, Labour Law, Criminal Law-II, Public  International Law, Jurisprudence, Human Rights Law and Practice, Banking Law, Right to Information, Law of Evidence, Insurance Law, Civil Procedure Code and Limitation Act, Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems, Intellectual Property Rights-I, Law relating to International Trade, Penology & Victimology, Women and Criminal law & Law Relating to Child, intellectual Property Rights-II, White Collar Crimes (Privileged Class Deviance), Taxation, Competition Law and Interpretation of Statutes  & Principles of Legislation.

For Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme:

Basic Mathematics: Set theory, Algebra and linear algebra, Real and complex analysis, Combinatorics and Probability and statistics.

Digital Logic: Combinational logic circuits, Switching theory, and Sequential m/c model.

Basics of Programming: Basic concepts of programming including the concepts in any one of the languages: C, C++ or Java.

For MBA Course:

Verbal Ability, English/Quantitative Ability/ Maths, Data Interpretation, and Logical Reasoning

Along with the syllabus, it is also important to review CUCET exam pattern. In the absence of exam pattern information, you can not give a final touch to your preparation.
