The B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent institute is expected to conduct the Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT) in the month of April 2022. The candidates looking to appear for this exam must familiarize themselves with the CIEAT Syllabus 2022. The syllabus consists of all the chapters and topics that the students need to prepare in order to clear the CIEAT exam with the good marks. CIEAT is a 2 hours long exam consisting of 100 Questions. The questions will be asked from the physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. However, the candidates applying for B.Tech (Biotechnology) can attempt the biology questions instead of Mathematics.
CIEAT Syllabus 2022
- The Syllabus of CIEAT exam is based on the class 11th and 12th curriculum of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
- In total 50 Questions will be asked from the Mathematics/ Biology subject while 25 Questions will be asked from the physics and chemistry subjects each.
- The institute will not issue any particular syllabus for the exam. The syllabus will be based on the previous year question papers.
- To prepare for the exam in a better way, the candidate should also go through the CIEAT Exam Pattern 2022.

Physics
The CIEAT Physics Syllabus 2022 is as follows:
Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Effects of Electric Current, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves and Wave Optics, Atomic Physics, Dual Nature of Radiation And matter–relativity, Nuclear Physics, Semiconductor Devices and their Applications, Communication Systems etc.
Chemistry
The CIEAT Chemistry Syllabus 2022 is divided into three group i.e. physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry. The important topics from each group are as follows:
Physical Chemistry: Solid State –II, Thermodynamics – II, Chemical Equilibrium – II, Chemical Kinetics-II, Surface Chemistry, Electrochemistry etc.
Organic Chemistry: Isomerism In Organic Chemistry, Hydroxy Derivatives, Ethers, Carbonyl Compounds, Carboxylic Acids, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, Biomolecules, Chemistry in Action etc.
Inorganic Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, P – Block Elements, D – Block Elements, F – Block Elements, Coordination Compounds and Bio-Coordination Compounds, Nuclear Chemistry etc.

Applications of matrices and Determinants, Vector Algebra, Complex Numbers, Analytical geometry, Differential Calculus – Applications I, Differential Calculus – Applications II, Integral Calculus & its Applications, Differential Equations, Discrete mathematics, groups, Probability Distributions etc.
