BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022: If you are appearing in BITSAT then your utmost responsibility should be checking minimum eligibility norms. If you are not eligible then you won’t be permitted to take the exam, so you must ensure your eligibility before you fill and submit your application form. Below I’m sharing with you all eligibility requirements for appearing in BITSAT exam.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Admission to First Degree Programmes at BITS Excluding B.Pharm

Candidates, who have cleared class 12^th exam from a recognized state or central board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or its equivalent exam, are eligible to apply for BITSAT exam.

For Admission to B.Pharm Programme

Candidates, who have cleared class 12^th examination from State or Central board with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or its equivalent exam, and proficiency in English, are permitted to apply for BITSAT exam. However, candidates who are from the PCM background are also permitted to apply for Pharmacy programme.

Admission Criteria for All Other Programmes

Candidates, who have achieved the minimum aggregate of 75% in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry, Physics and Biology, in class 12^th examination, are allowed to apply, Please keep in your mind that you need to score at least 60% marks in each subject including Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Mathematics.

Candidates, who are going to appear in class 12^th examination in the year 2022, or passed the same in 2021, are allowed to apply for BITSAT exam. Candidate, who has attempted more than one time in class 12^th or its equivalent, his/her latest performance will be considered.

Candidates, who cleared the qualifying exam in the year 2019 or earlier, are not permitted to appear for BITSAT 2022. Admission will be purely based on candidates’ merit in BITSAT exam, subject of fulfilling all mentioned eligibility norms.

Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT exam. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in 12th examination, as mentioned above.
