This is entrance examination which will offer admissions to eligible applicants in full-time course of MCA (Master of Computer Applications) at different campuses of BIT like Mesra, Jaipur, Noida & Lalpur.

Eligibility Criteria:- BIT MCA 2021
The eligibility criteria for BIT MCA 2021 are decided by the Birla Institute of Technology itself. The university has set some criteria on the basis of which the applicants will be allowed to apply for the examination.
- The applicants who have passed Higher Secondary examination or equivalent from a recognized Board can apply for BIT MCA 2021.
- In the Higher Secondary standard, the applicants must have studied Mathematics as a subject.
- The applicants having UG degree in BCA, B.Sc. with Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, B.E in Computer Science, IT will be considered as eligible to apply for the examination.
- The applicants who are appearing in the final year can also fill the application form of the entrance examination.
How to Apply?
The application forms will be uploaded at the official website of the university probably in the month of March 2021. The applicants will be able to download the forms from the official website of the university. The university will release the information brochure along with the application form. The applicants should read the instructions carefully to fill up the application form. The applicants are advised to fill up the application form as per the instructions given in the brochure. Once you submit your form online, you also have to send a copy of printed application form along with other specified documents at this address-

The application fee required to apply for BIT MCA 2021 is Rs. 2500/- for General applicants & Rs. 1500/- for reserved categories. Without the payment of application fee, your application form will not be accepted. The application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Examination Pattern
The examination pattern is all about the question paper of BIT MCA 2021. It tells you about everything related to the question paper such as No. of questions paper, total No. of marks assigned to question paper, No. of section, duration to complete the question paper & so on. The examination pattern for BIT MCA 2021 is as follows-
- The authority will conduct the entrance examination through online mode.
- The applicants will get 2 hours to complete the examination.
- The applicants will be asked total 120 questions of MCQ type.
- In marking scheme, the applicants will get 4 marks for each correct answer & 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for wrong answer.
- There will be 4 sections in the examination as listed below with the total No. of questions assigned to each section.

Admit Card
The admit cards can be downloaded from the website of the university. The admit cards will be issued from 3rd week of May 2021. It is compulsory to enter your application No. & DOB to download the admit card, without providing these details you will not be able to get your admit card. This is why you are advised to note down your application No. or to take the print out of duly filled application form to use it for further stages of BIT MCA 2021 admissions.
Publication of Result
The examination result for BIT MCA 2021 will be declared in June 2021. The result will also be provided at the official website. To get your score card also, you will required the application No. The admission will be provided on the basis of the score card of BIT MCA 2021. Hence, it is very important that you must scored the minimum qualified marks or cut off marks to get selected for counseling.
Syllabus for Exam
The examination syllabus consists of 4 sections- Mathematics, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, Computer awareness and English. The Mathematics section will cover these topics- Algebra, Set theory, Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus, Differential Equation, Vectors, Trigonometry, Probability & Statistics, Linear Programming etc.
The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section will examine you on quantitative reasoning, logical reasoning & visio-spatial reasoning.
The Computer Awareness section will include the areas of Computer Basics Data Representation, Computer Architecture, Computer Language, Flow Chart & Algorithms, Operating Systems etc.
The English section will test you on these topics- Use of article & prepositions, Synonyms, Reading Comprehension, Completion of sentences, Abridging sentences, sentence sequence, idioms & phrases, Expansion of an idea etc.
Admission Procedure
The admission procedure of BIT MCA 2021 does not end at result declaration. The eligible applicants also have to go through one more stage which is known as counseling. If you are qualified in counseling then you will be allotted a seat. But to take part in counseling, you have to get selected in the merit list. The merit list will be prepared completely on the performance of applicants in the entrance examination.
