Candidates aspiring for admission in different UG and PG programs offered by the BIHER institute should go through the BEEE syllabus to understand what topics they need to study for the entrance examination. Knowing the syllabus will also help the candidates in analyzing and figuring the key subjects/topics reading which can fetch good marks in the exam. Applicants should also go through the exam pattern of the entrance exam to know the overall structure of the examination. To fetch positive marks in the exam, candidates aspiring for admission in UG courses need to study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects. For PG courses, candidates need to study the subject as per the concerned graduation level syllabus.

BEEE Syllabus

Before moving to the BEEE syllabus, candidates should note that since their admission will solely depend on their performance in the exam. Therefore, they need to put their best foot forward and mark the most out of the BEEE exam pattern and the syllabus. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes and it will be conducted in both the modes i.e. online and offline. The syllabus for BEEE exam for UG courses will typically be as per the level of 10+2-

Physics: Mechanics, gravitation, heat and thermodynamics, ray and wave optics and magnetism, electricity and magnetism, oscillations and waves, atomic physics and relativity, dual nature of matter and nuclear physics, electronics and communication, etc.

English: The syllabus of English language will be as per that of intermediate second year.

Chemistry: Some basic concepts in chemistry, states of matter, chemical families-periodic properties, atomic structure, chemical bonding and molecular structure, solutions, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, hydrocarbons, surface chemistry, chemical kinetics, organic compounds containing oxygen, organic compounds containing nitrogen, polymers, etc.

Mathematics: Sets, relations, and functions, matrices and determinants, complex numbers, mathematical induction and its application, quadratic equation, trigonometry, sequence and series, straight lines in 2D, differential equations, integral calculus, circles in 2D, vector algebra, probability, etc.

Biology (Zoology and Botany): Plant anatomy, cell biology and genetics, biotechnology, plant physiology, biology in human welfare, modern genetics and animal biotechnology, environmental science, theories of evolution, immunology, microbiology, etc.

Tips and tricks to fetch good marks in the exam

Here are some useful preparation tips for the candidates to score better marks in the BEEE examination-

  1. Start your preparation from scratch by mastering the basic concepts first and then only proceed for the complex ones.
  2. Keep a separate notebook for mathematic formulas and short tricks.
  3. Make shorts notes for easy and quick revision.
  4. Solve mock test, previous year papers for practice and analyze the area you need improvement in.
  5. Maintain consistency while studying for the exam. Do not skip topics if you cannot understand it. First, try to clear the doubts with your teachers and friends.
