ASRB NET 2023: The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will conduct the ICAR NET examination. It is the national eligibility test (NET) that determines the eligibility of the candidates for the posts of Lecturer/ Assistant professor in the state Agricultural Universities (SAU) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). ASRB NET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirant must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying.
Nationality
The candidates with any of the following nationalities are eligible.
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Those Tibetan refugees are also eligible who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling here.
- Indian origin person who migrate to India with the intention of permanently settling here from any of the following countries – Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka & East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam.
Age Limit
- The age of a candidate must be more than 21 years as on 1st July 2023.
- There is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualification
- The aspirant must possess a master’s degree in the relevant field to be eligible for the ASRB NET 2023.

ASRB NET 2023 Application Form
The application form for ASRB NET 2023 examination will release online through the official website. Interested candidates can visit any of the following two websites to access the application forms i.e. www.asrb.org.net and www.icar.org.in.
- After accessing the application form, candidates have to provide their educational, contact, and personal details accurately.
- Apart from this, aspirants are also required to choose the exam center city while filing details in the application form.
- Additional, the passport size coloured photograph and signature of the candidates must also be uploaded on the application form.
- It is a duty of the candidate to check and verify the details entered in the application form before submitting them.
- Fabricated or wrong information may result in the application form rejection.
- Applicants must keep a printout of the application form submitted for future references.

Mode of payment
- Applicants can pay the fees online using a debit card, net banking, or a credit card.
ASRB NET 2023 Admit Card
- In order to appear for the ASRB NET 2023 it is compulsory for the candidate carry a valid admit card.
- It is expected that the authorities will release the admit cards at least 2 weeks prior to the exam date.
- An admit card comprises information about the date, timing, and venue of the examination.
- No candidates will be permitted to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
- Aspirants are advised to preserve the admit card until they receive the eligibility certificate.
ASRB NET 2023 Exam Pattern

- After conducting the exam, authorities will publish the ASRB NET 2023 result online.
- Candidates have to visit the official website and provide their roll number and date of birth in order to check the result.
- Those aspirants who will score more than cut-off marks will be awarded with an eligibility certificate.
- Having the eligibility certificate will let the candidates apply for the posts of lecturer/ assistant professor in various agriculture universities.

Answer: There is no such limit on number of attempts. You can attempt the maximum number of times.
Question – 2: Is it possible to submit the application offline. Do I need to send hardcopies of the documents if I submit the form online?
Answer: The application form must be submitted in online mode only. There is no requirement to submit any hardcopies with the application form.
Question – 3: What is ASRP NET Syllabus 2023?
Answer: The syllabus of the exam depends upon the subject you have selected. The questions to be asked will be of Master’s degree level.
Question – 4: What If I submit multiple applications by mistake. Which application will be considered by the authorities?
Answer: In such a case, the application form submitted later will be considered valid. Earlier application form will be rejected. Please note that you will not get any refund for the rejected forms.
