AP ICET 2023: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

On behalf of APSCHE, Sri Venkateswara University will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test 2023 i.e. AP ICET 2023. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted to screen the candidates for admissions into MBA and MCA courses. Selected candidates can enroll in a large number of management institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Aspiring candidates looking to appear for this exam have to submit an application form in online mode. Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before filling the form. The application process may start from 2nd week of July 2023.

AP ICET 2023

• While filling the application form, the candidates need to choose their three most preferred examination center cities.
• The application fee will not be accepted by the demand draft or cheque.
• To correct mistakes in the application form, authorities will provide a correction window for a few days. However, the information like name, father’s name, date of birth, photo, signature, and qualifying exam hall ticket number cannot be changed.
• Before declaring the result, the university will publish the answer keys. Using these answer keys, candidates may get a rough idea about the marks they are going to score.

AP ICET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria that should be fulfilled in order to appear for the AP ICET 2023 exam are explained below.

Nativity

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• Aspirants must also satisfy local/ non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification requirement varies for different courses as given below.

For MBA Admission

• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
• Must have studied Mathematics as a subject at class 10th level.

MCA

• The applicant must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks at the graduation level (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
• Candidates should have studied mathematics at 10+2 level.

Lateral Entry to MBA 2nd year

• The aspirants must have completed BCA or any other degree in CS/ IT with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
• Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics subject.

Note: The candidates who will appear for the final year exam of graduation in 2023 can also apply.

AP ICET 2023 Application form

Authorities are going to accept the AP ICET Application Form 2023 in online mode only. The candidates who are looking to apply, first, need to pay the application fee online or at APOnline centers.

• After the application fee payment, the candidates have to check their payment status.
• If the payment status is “success” then they can fill the detailed application form.
• In the application form, candidates have to fill their academic, contact, and personal details.
• The details should be entered very carefully. Remember, incorrect details may result in the application form rejection.
• Candidates who belong to reserved categories have to provide their certificate number in the application form.
• Apart from the details, the aspirants have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature.
• The size of the scanned photograph and signature should be less than 50 KB and 30 KB respectively.
• After submitting the form, applicants should take a print out of the same and keep it safe for future requirements.

Application Fee

• The application fee for all the candidates is Rs. 550/-. Plus, a processing fee of Rs. 29/- will be charged additionally. So, the total amount that a candidate needs to pay is Rs. 579/-
• A candidate can either pay the fees online using a debit/ credit card, net baking or by cash at APOnline centers.

• Type of Questions: Objective-type MCQs
• Number of Questions: 200
• Duration of Exam: 150 minutes
• Maximum Marks: 200 marks
• Number of Sections: 3 (Section A, B, and C)
• Language of Question paper: English & Telugu for Section A & Section B and only English for Section C.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark for every incorrect answer.

• Data Sufficiency: the questions will be asked in the form of two statements. Candidates have to decide if the given information is sufficient to find the answer or not.
• Problem Solving: Coding and Decoding Problems, Date, Time & Arrangement Problems, Sequences and Series, Data Analysis, etc.
• Arithmetical Ability: Numbers & Divisibility, LCM, and GCD, Rational Numbers, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Laws of Indices, Ratio & Proportion, Surds, etc.
• Algebraic & Geometrical Ability: Sets, Relations, Functions, Coordinate Geometry, Truth Tables, Statements, Trigonometry, Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Matrices, etc
• Statistical Ability: Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation and Probability, Frequency Distributions, Mean, Median, etc.
• Vocabulary: Identification and use of vocabulary in day-to-day communication.
• Business and Computer Terminology: Identification of the basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts such as letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes, etc
• Functional Grammar: Understanding the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication and in business contexts.
• Reading Comprehension: 3 passages and question answers based on the passages.

AP ICET 2023 Admit Card

• The admit card of the AP ICET 2023 exam will release online through the official website.
• Those candidates who will submit the application form before the last date will be able to download the admit card by providing their registration number and date of birth.
• Details about the examination center, date, and timing will be mentioned on the admit card.
• No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without having a hall ticket.
• The candidates must preserve the admit card after the exam because it is required at the time of entry to the course.

AP ICET 2023 Result

• The authorities will declare the AP ICET result 2023 roughly within 1 week of the examination date.
• Aspirants may check their result by entering their registration and AP ICET hall ticket number.
• The scorecard will carry the information about the marks secured by the candidates.
• Those candidates who will score more than cutoff marks will be invited to the counselling process.

AP ICET 2023 Counselling

• The counselling process of AP ICET 2023 will take place after the declaration of result.
• During counselling, the candidates have to provide their choice of colleges for admission.
