Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for The Scindia School Admission 2024 are given below:

• For admission to class VI: The age of the candidates should not be more than 11 years as on 1^st January 2024.
• For admission to class VII: Candidates of age not more than 12 years as on 1^st January 2024 are eligible to apply for admission in class 7.
• For admission to class VIII: Applicants whose age does not exceed 13 years as on 1^st January 2024 are eligible for admission.
• For admission to class IX: Candidates should have studied and cleared their class 8^th examination from a recognized school.
• For admission to class XI: Those who have passed their 10^th exam from a recognized board can apply for class 11^th

Application Process

The registration form for The Scindia School Admission 2024 can be availed from the official website of school www.scindia.edu. Parents are advised to go through the important instructions before proceeding with the registration process.

• In the registration form, the basic details of the candidates such as name, date of birth, address, Aadhaar number, etc should be provided.
• Details of the parents like name, mobile number and email address will also be asked.
• Filled-in registration form along with the copy of the birth certificate, report card of previous class and 3 self-attested passport size photos of the applicant should be submitted online or sent to the school.
• Along with the documents and form, the parents will also have to submit a prescribed amount as registration fee.
• The Parents are suggested to keep a copy of the duly filled application form safe with them in case of future reference.

Registration fee:

• The registration fee for SAA will be Rs. 6500/-. For Class XI admissions seekers, the applicants have to choose CAA category and pay Rs. 16,500/- as registration fee.
• Payment can be done online using net banking, credit card or by a bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Principal, The Scindia School’, payable at Gwalior.
• Registration fee once paid will not refunded under any circumstances.

For class VI entrance:

• English: Essay or Composition on a Given Topic, Story or Composition Based On a Given Picture, Direct & Indirect Speech, Informal Letter, Parts Of Speech, Tenses and Reading Comprehension
• Mathematics: Numbers, LCM & HCF, Fractional Numbers, Decimal Numbers, Measurement, Pictorial Representation of Data, Basic Geometry, Triangles, Money Transaction, Perimeter, Area & Volume and Circle

For class VII entrance:

• English: Essay or Composition On A Given Topic, Unseen Passage, Short Story On A Given Picture, Informal Letter, Direct & Indirect Speech, Tenses, Parts Of Speech, Modals, Spelling Correction, Infinitives, Gerund & Participle, Punctuate Sentences And Prefix/ Suffix

For class VIII entrance:

• English: Essay or Composition On A Given Topic, Unseen Passage, Short Story On A Given Picture, Formal/ Informal Letter, Modals, Direct & Indirect Speech, Tenses, Infinitives, Gerund & Participle, Parts Of Speech, Spelling Correction, Prefix/ Suffix and Jumbled Sentences
• Mathematics: Integers, Fractions & Decimals, Exponents, Algebraic Expressions, Liner Equations In One Variables, Comparing Quantities, Lines & Angles, Triangles, Symmetry, Visualizing Solid Shapes, Perimeter & Area and Data Handling

Admission Procedure

Admission will be granted to the candidates on the basis of their performance in the aptitude assessment. For class 9^th and 11^th, admissions will be subject to availability of seats. Students shortlisted after the CAA and SAA will be invited to the school for an interactive session of games & sports, co-curricular activities and interaction with the faculty. For SAA, a registration amount of Rs. 15,000/- is to be paid after the admission is confirmed. Selected candidates are required to make payment of tuition and other fees as applicable and complete the rest formalities to confirm their admission. Submission of Aadhaar Card copy of the candidate is mandatory in all states of India (except Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya) before joining of school by the student.

Fee structure

The schedule for submission of various installments of admission fee can be found out by contacting the school. Payment of fees can be done by RTGS/ NEFT or other online payment mode. The fee structure for The Scindia School Admission 2024 is given below:

For Indian students:

• 1^st Installment (On acceptance of admission offer): Rs. 3,50,000
• 2^nd Installment (As per 2nd letter of formal admission): Rs. 4,85,000
• 3^rd Installment (By 1^st August of admission year): Rs. 4,65,000
• Accountable Advance Deposit for Student’s Personal Expenditure: Rs. 1,00,000

For International students:

• 1^st Installment (On acceptance of admission offer): Rs. 4,15,000
• 2^nd Installment (As per 2^nd letter of formal admission): Rs. 5,35,000
• 3^rd Installment (By 1^st August of admission year): Rs. 5,72,000
• Accountable Advance Deposit for Student’s Personal Expenditure: Rs. 1,00,000

Scholarships

The school offers scholarships to the newly admitted candidates and the existing candidates as well. Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students and will be given under the following categories:

• Category A: Merit-cum-Means Scholarship will be given to the newly admitted students in the need for financial assistance on the basis of grades obtained in the Aptitude test.
• Category B: Merit-cum-Means Scholarship will be given to the existing students in the need for financial assistance on the basis of their scores in academics, sports and co-curricular activities.
• Category C: Purely Merit Based Scholarship will be given to the existing students to recognize the meritorious students for their excellent performance irrespective of their financial needs.

Note: The scholarships will only be applicable in the given academic year.
